Good morning Gang Green Nation! One possible upgrade to the Jets’ wide receivers group was taken off the board yesterday when the Denver Broncos traded Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns for 5th and 6th round draft picks. The Jets are rumored to have been interested in Jeudy, but apparently they weren’t interested enough to beat the Browns’ rather limited offer. Was that a mistake? That remains to be seen. When the offseason is finished and the Jets present their opening day lineup, we’ll see how things shake out for the roster. For the time being this looks like a lost chance at a much needed upgrade to the wide receivers group, but there is a very long way to go before we see how the Jets go about upgrading various positions on the roster. Until then, let’s withhold judgment as to whether or not the Jets should have made a better offer for Jeudy.
