Withdrawn from the presidency of the French Football Federation (FFF), Noël Le Graët sees another accusation against him being revealed in the public space.
The Breton had sparked a lively controversy after his very critical statements towards Zinedine Zidane. In addition to this, justice has opened an investigation for moral or sexual harassment on Noël Le Graët. For Maracineanu, Le Graët must leave
In an interview given to Figarothis Saturday, the former Minister of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu, ordered Noël Le Graët to withdraw definitively from the FFF: “He is a middle-aged man, who has had health problems and it would be good if he puts his family, his children and his grandchildren first. We are in the middle of a debate on the pension reform and it would be good if he were fully in line with it. Noël Le Graët, for his part, does not seem to want this solution. The Breton, accused by justice, intends to fight.
If Roxana Maracineanu revealed in Le Figaro have had “pretty good diplomatic relations” with the 81-year-old French leader, the former Minister of Sports nevertheless entrusts a “big shouting match about homophobic chants in stadiums”. As for the current occupant of the post, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, her relations are extremely tense with Noël Le Graët, who hardly carries her in his heart, in return.
