MXA FANTASY LEAGUE: THE WINNER OF THE ST. LOUIS SUPERCROSS SCORED 272 POINTS

A hectic night of racing came for the final triple crown event of the 2024 Supercross season. Eli Tomac was able to win all three main events giving him his first overall since being back from injury. Cooper Webb finished second and made up quite a bit of valuable points on Jett Lawrence as a collision with Justin Barcia in the third main event had put Lawrence to the back and he would ultimately finish eighth overall on the evening. In the 250 class, Levi Kitchen also had a clean sweep of wins and he was able to open up his points gap even further on RJ Hampshire who finished fourth on the night. Still, a lot of racing to go in the season and many points to be made up prior to Motocross.

WINNER OF THE ST. LOUIS FANTASY LEAGUE “JHANNA22”

Jhanna22 was the winner of the 100% goggle giveaway from the 2024 St. Louis Supercross.

250 CLASS PREDICTIONS

In the 250 class, Levi Kitchen maintained momentum from his previous win in Seattle and dominated all three main events at the St. Louis Triple Crown. Jhanna22 accurately predicted this outcome, believing Kitchen was on a roll, and he was correct. He received 36 fantasy points for the accurate prediction, including the ten bonus points. In second, he chose Jo Shimoda, which was also a precise prediction as Jo finished second overall, giving him 33 fantasy points, including the ten bonus points. In third, he selected Jordon Smith, another correct prediction, earning him 31 fantasy points, including the ten bonus points. In fourth, Jhanna22 varied his choices a bit by selecting Ryder DiFrancesco, which was not a bad prediction given Ryder D’s good potential heading into the evening. Unfortunately, Ryder would go down and not finish in the top six, resulting in no fantasy points for the evening. In fifth, he chose Nate Thrasher, who did end up fifth overall, giving him 28 fantasy points, including the ten bonus points. Finally, in sixth, Jhanna22 selected Garrett Marchbanks, who has been a reliable bet this season to finish in the top six. Garrett ended up sixth overall, earning 27 fantasy points, including the ten bonus points.

450 CLASS PREDICTIONS

In the 450 class, Jhanna22 also made some impressive predictions. Initially, he selected Jett Lawrence, the night’s most popular pick. Unfortunately, Jett did not finish in the top six after an incident with Justin Barcia and received no fantasy points. In second place, he chose Cooper Webb, who did indeed finish second, awarding him 33 fantasy points, including the ten bonus points. For third place, he selected Eli Tomac, who ended up winning the event, resulting in 26 fantasy points but no bonus points. In fourth, he opted for Aaron Plessinger, who secured fourth place on the night, earning 29 points, including the ten bonus points. In fifth, he chose Chase Sexton, which was again a correct prediction as Sexton finished fifth, granting 28 fantasy points, including the ten-point bonus. Finally, in sixth, he selected Ken Roczen; unfortunately, this pick did not yield any fantasy points as Roczen did not finish in the top six.

Overall, the consistency of correct picks was remarkable, yet there were still points left on the table, indicating that there is more room to gain on competitors. Participation in the entire season isn’t required to win weekly prizes, and as the season approaches its conclusion, picks may become more predictable. However, with the upcoming East-West shootout, there is potential for every competitor to win prizes as there is no common winner. We have a week break and will be back in Foxborough.
