The top golfers on the international scene continue to battle it out in the first Major of the season. The Augusta Masters is now just one round away from its conclusion, with the leaderboard presenting a truly intricate situation. With 18 holes remaining, we find an impressive 15 participants within 7 strokes of each other, but it’s the highly variable playing conditions that make the outcome of the decisive round even more uncertain. Collin Morikawa, among the best performers of the third round with a score of -3, which propelled him into second place just one stroke behind leader Scheffler, commented on the situation: “Anything can happen tomorrow because we don’t know the conditions we’ll be playing in.”

“There are many of us within a few strokes, and the greens have changed compared to the first two rounds. We’ll have to come up with something different and be aggressive. I’ve never seen conditions this fast at Augusta; on some holes, I had to completely change my approach from previous years,” analyzed Morikawa. “After three rounds, I’m in contention for the win. We’ll be giving it our all on Sunday; it’ll be tough, but I can’t wait,” concluded the Californian.

Ludvig Aberg has also climbed up the leaderboard thanks to an excellent third round. The young Swede sits fourth with a score of -4, just three strokes behind leader Scheffler. “I trained in windy conditions in Lubbock, Texas, and found similar conditions in the last two days,” commented the Scandinavian. “I feel very fortunate to be here and to be in contention for the win. I try to stay positive and enjoy the moment. Tomorrow, I’ll keep an eye on the leaderboard and try to position myself well to make those crucial putts,” concluded Aberg.

So, this evening in Italy, we await the fourth and decisive round of the Augusta Masters. Stay tuned tomorrow morning for the updates, highlights, and interviews from the round that will determine the winner.
