Pietro Bovari made an impressive comeback in the final round, climbing 22 spots with a score of 67 (-5, seven birdies, two bogeys) to finish 37th with 281 (71 70 73 67, -7).

Lindberg, who led after 54 holes, laid the foundation for his victory in the third round by surging from 38th to first place. However, he faced stiff competition in the final round as Van Velzen matched his score with a 66 (-6, one eagle, four birdies). Ultimately, Lindberg’s birdie in the playoff secured his second Challenge Tour victory, also earning him success on the Sunshine Tour. This triumph adds to his impressive record of five victories on the Nordic Golf League and one on the Swedish Golf Tour. He received a prize of €51,489 from a purse of approximately €323,000 (with the official figure being $350,000).

Once again, South African players fell short of victory, unable to secure a win in the second consecutive home event. Nonetheless, they achieved strong performances with five players finishing in the top ten: Louis Albertse in third place with 273 (-15), JC Ritchie in fourth place with 274 (-14), tied with Frenchman Robin Sciot-Siegrist, and Toto Thimba Jr, Shaun Norris, and Rupert Kaminski tied for sixth place with 275 (-13), alongside Frenchman Martin Couvra, Dutchman Lars Van Meijel, and Dane Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen. Aron Zemmer (71 71) and Gregorio De Leo (72 70) failed to make the cut, both finishing tied for 71st place with 142 (-2).
