The night one main event of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 14 event is now official.
The match will see IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada defend the title against Kota Ibushi. Ibushi earned the title shot by winning the G1 Climax earlier this year.
This weekend’s NJPW King of Pro Wrestling saw Okada retain his title over SANADA. Ibushi retained his title shot by defeating EVIL. Ibushi vs. Okada was made official after that.
While night one will be headlined by the IWGP Heavyweight Title match, night two will feature the retirement match for wrestling legend Jushin Thunder Liger.
NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14 takes place on Saturday, January 4 and Sunday, January 5 from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
