LoL Patch 14.7 – Several item changes

Patch 14.6 saw major nerfs to the most powerful picks such as Karma, Smolder, and others, while also giving some love to less popular champions like Galio. We are still monitoring the meta, but it seems like there are small shifts starting to form.

Heading into Patch 14.7, the most important news is the introduction of the reworked Skarner. The champion is already receiving several changes in the PBE, according to our beloved game designer Spideraxe. If you’re not familiar with his work, check our Skarner abilities rundown.

There aren’t many changes announced so far, but most of the champions on the change list are enchanter champions. Sona and Nami are receiving some love while Riot is still looking to push Karma into a balanced state.

Below you can find the numbers and adjustments that are currently planned. Keep in mind, though, that the buffs or nerfs might be subject to further changes in the upcoming days.

Patch 14.7 Release Date

According to the official patch schedule, Patch 14.7 will be released on Wednesday, Apr. 3rd. This will be the 7th patch out of the 24 updates planned for the year.

How will the upcoming patch impact the meta?

Given the low amount of changes in the patch for now, it’s tough to make a good analysis. Once we have confirmed all the planned changes, we will be giving our take on how the meta will shift. In the meantime, check out our tier lists of the best champions for each role:
