With four weeks before the end of the LCK 2024 Spring regular split, here are some intriguing stats about the competition.

HLE taking the crown of the KDA leaderboard
Top teams are usually going to be topping the KDA charts and the LCK is no exception. Having said that, we don’t have any of the T1 or the Gen.G players in the first place. Instead, it’s HLE Delight with a KDA of 8.8 (15/25/206). He’s followed closely by his bot lane partner Viper (8.2), then it’s Canyon (7.3) and Peyz (7.0). Surprisingly, the best T1 player in terms of KDA is Faker at 6, tied with Chovy.
The longest game in the league this year lasted almost an hour
There weren’t many long games this season. While technically one series lasted for more than 6 hours last week, it was for other reasons. So far, the longest game registered was the incredible game between KT and HLE, lasting a little more than 55 minutes. After 4 Barons and 3 Elder dragons, HLE came out victorious.

Side does matter, but not much
Just like in the LPL, the two sides’ win rate doesn’t differ that much. That said, the blue side is still favored, recording a 51.9% win rate, showing that this side of the map is still a bit better, a recurring trend we saw the past few seasons.
The most picked champion
Luckily, it’s not K’Sante, who however is still second in this particular stat. The most popular champion in the LCK is Azir, totaling 66 presences in Summoner’s Rift. Given his power and scaling ability, the champion won’t disappear: let’s just hope we can get a bit more diversification in the mid lane.
A similar trend among bans
The LCK and the LPL are having similar meta reads at the start of 2024, with Ashe and Kalista being the most banned champions in both regions. That said, the champions with the highest presence rate (pick/ban) are Orianna and Lucian, sitting at 83%. Compared to previous seasons, at least it’s looking a bit more healthy and we don’t get to see the same picks all the time.
6 games, 100% win rate
While it’s not surprising to see champions with a 100% win rate in pro play, having already 6 games and 0 losses shows that the pick is powerful. Neeko is currently undefeated in the league: we’ll see whether she can maintain the record going forward.
