Juventus comes out of silence after the heavy sanction of the Italian federation

In a press release published in the wake of the announcement of the 15 penalty points decided by the Italian Football Federation, Juventus Turin wanted to take note of the decision of the transalpine justice, announcing that an appeal has been prepared to contest this decision. As a reminder, the bianconera management is accused of having overstated the selling prices in some player transfers and thus having recorded unjustified profits in their accounts.

“With the sentence revoked, the Federal Court of Appeal had rejected the complaint filed by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office against the decision of the National Federal Court which, in turn, had acquitted Juventus and the other accused persons for the absence of any disciplinary offense regarding the assessment of the effects of certain player rights transfers on the financial statements and the recognition of capital gains. The Company is awaiting the publication of the reasons and is already announcing the introduction of an appeal to the Commission de Garantie du Sport under the terms of the Code of Justice for Sport.”
