Josh Alexander on Why Breaking His Neck Was a Good Thing, His Ultimate Goal In Impact, More

on

Impact Wrestling World Champion Josh Alexander recently spoke with Fightful Select for an upcoming interview. Below are a few early notes from the interview:

* Alexander said breaking his neck and having to undergo surgery in July 2015 and step away from wrestling in was one of the best things that ever happened to him. When he had time off, Alexander had more time to reflect and realized he wasn’t putting in the work to the level he wanted to. This motivated him to not waste the time that he had. Impact gave him an opportunity and he capitalized

* He said his neck is fine and he feels younger at 35 than he did at 25 because he takes care of himself much better now

* Alexander said his ultimate goal at Impact is to grow the company to the level where he believes the roster is. He wants to get more eyes on the show, and feels like doing specials and pay-per-view events help with that. He personally puts it on himself to work harder to make that happen
