Jon Rahm shot a seven-under-par on Friday at the LIV tournament in Las Vegas (USA) and positioned himself second, two strokes behind the leaders, Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson.
Following his two-under-par start on the opening day, Rahm delivered an error-free round with seven birdies to remain in contention heading into the final day, scheduled for Saturday. They have a cumulative score of nine under par.

In this first stop in the US in 2024 for the controversial Saudi circuit, DeChambeau and Johnson carded a 62, eight under par, and hold a cumulative score of -11.
Chilean Joaquín Niemann and Spaniard David Puig trail the leaders by five points (-6).
Mexican Abraham Ancer has a cumulative score of five under par after shooting two under par on Friday.
Spaniards Sergio García and Eugenio López Chacarra are further back, both with a cumulative score of three under par.

He was number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for sixty weeks, holding the absolute record as number one in said classification.
