The franchise meets the first-round rookie.
The Cincinnati Bengals official Twitter (X) account released a video of first-round pick Amarius Mims meeting the guy he’ll be protecting, superstar QB Joe Burrow.

Essentially, Mims says, “Nice to meet you, bro.” Burrow daps him up, punches his chest, and tells him to “Get after it.” Mims mumbles something and apparently says, “Yes, sir.”
That’s it.
Was it staged? Maybe. Was it awkward? Yeah. Does it matter? No.
We know Mims is excited about blocking for the former LSU star. And we know that Burrow likes the idea of not getting pummeled in the backfield. So, hopefully, this (or the actual first time they met) is the start of a great relationship.
