Jey Uso apologizes to Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has been quite vocal about how much he despises Jey Uso, going back to the role Jey played in screwing Drew out of the WWE Universal championship last year during his feud with The Bloodline.

It sounds like McIntyre has reached the point of no return when it comes to his hatred of Uso. Even so, Jey issued the following apology to Drew yesterday on WWE’s The Bump:

“He’s so mad. Hey Drew, look man. I’m sorry, Uce. Alright? I apologize, man. Damn, you’ve got to let that thing go, Uce. Don’t be mad all the time. I understand we did some messed up things to you Drew, back in the day…cost you the world championship, we whooped your ass multiple times. But damn, I was just following orders, Uce. I was mad too back in the day, man. But you got to let it go, Uce. Let it go. I promise, man, your heart’ll be lighter.

…I’m sorry, alright? I’m sorry Drew! Drew, I’m sorry Drew! I’m sorry, Uce.”

I don’t think Jey’s apology will change anything, because Drew has spent plenty of time lately calling out the weakness of others (like Sami Zayn and Randy Orton) for accepting Jey’s apologies. But hey, it was at least worth a shot, I guess.
