Not ideal. Although, the Eagles legend doesn’t seem too torn up about it.

Winning the Super Bowl was one of the highlights of Jason Kelce’s career with the Eagles, but the recently-retired legend has had a tough time keeping track of his Super Bowl ring over the years.

We first saw Kelce lose his ring in the early part of his self-titled documentary on Amazon Prime, with his wife Kylie watching with amusement as the center searched all over his house for it. He checked in his sock drawer, his pants pockets, all over, but still hadn’t found it by the time they finished filming. Kelce later said that Kylie ended up finding it much later on in the glove box of their truck.

A year later, Kelce finds himself ring-less once again, with the former Eagle admitting that this time he lost his Super Bowl ring during his New Heights live show at the University of Cincinnati on April 11.

During the latest episode of New Heights, Kelce makes the admission while he and Travis recap their live show and the subsequent Lombaby Games. One of the events included a member from each of the two teams competing to find a Super Bowl ring — one real, one replica — among a baby-pool filled with Skyline Chili. (It was actually filled with a three-way, which includes chili, spaghetti, and cheese.) Turns out, the replica was found first, and the real ring never was.

After the event, members of their production team were seen using giant shovels and metal detectors to try and find the ring among the disgustingly old chili, but ultimately, everything ended up in the trash — including the missing ring.

Kelce admits that he didn’t think that would happen, to which Travis blasted him for thinking otherwise.

“I thought we would just go in the pool and get the ring afterwards, but they were throwing so much, and there was so much calamity happening, that at some point, the only thing I can think of, is at some point, the sock [with the ring] got kicked out of the three-way, and it made it’s way out of the pool and it was thrown away in some shape or form.

But yes, the Super Bowl ring is officially gone.”

Not to worry. Kelce said they’ve already put the insurance claim in — acknowledging the insurance company might have some questions about the ordeal. He also assumed that he could have another one made, but has to check on that to be sure.

Will he get another ring? We’ll have to wait and see. (Although, I’m assuming the Eagles are going to help one of the greatest players in franchise history out in this regard.)
