Jannik Sinner promises to his fans: “I’ll come back stronger”

on

Jannik Sinner wanted to send an important message to all his fans through a new post on his X account.

The young Italian champion had announced a few days ago that he would be absent from the Internazionali BNL d’Italia due to a hip problem that has been tormenting him for weeks.

Jannik had already withdrawn beforehand on the eve of the quarter-finals of the Mutua Madrid Open, but it wasn’t enough. And now even the Roland Garros is at risk.

“It’s never a straight road. We will come back stronger,” he wrote, to reassure his fans.

The reference is clear to the various rumors circulating online regarding the extent of his injury and to the concern expressed by many fans on social media.

Sinner will remain stationary in the next few days and will only try to raise the pace on the eve of the Roland Garros.

Sinner and the absence in Rome

After evaluating his hip condition in detail with his medical staff, Jannik Sinner made a wise decision thinking about his future and not just the present.

The Italian will not participate in the Internazionali BNL d’Italia and has also questioned his participation at the Roland Garros, explaining that he will not take any unnecessary risks for his career.

“We need to accept what happened. It hurts me and many fans. I’m 22 years old and I hope to be able to play another 15 years in Rome. Some injuries can be prevented, others can’t. I don’t want to go into details. We thought it was nothing serious, but the MRI said otherwise.

We have everything under control. If I don’t recover 100%, I would be ready to stop: I don’t want to waste years of my career, it’s very important,” he said during the press event organized at the Foro Italico in Rome and also attended by the president of the Italian Tennis Federation Angelo Binaghi.
