Jaguars sign International Player Pathway TE Patrick Murtagh (Big Cat Country)

“It’s a great feeling, getting the contract signed, and getting day one all completed now,” Murtagh said in an interview with the team via Jaguars PR. “The work’s only just started now so I’m excited to get into it.”

Should the Jacksonville Jaguars trade up in the draft? (Big Cat Country)

Last week, we looked at a potential scenario where the Jacksonville Jaguars move down in the draft. With the 2024 NFL Draft less than two weeks away, the more likely scenario is starting to seem that the team will either stay put or move up a few spots.

[Renardo] Green is a physical defender who would also offer inside-outside versatility for Ryan Nielsen; meaning, if the Jaguars didn’t want to play Darnell Savage in the slot, Green could be that “little nickel” in the Jaguars secondary. But the plan would be for him to become the full-time cornerback opposite Campbell.

Who will the Jaguars take in the 2024 NFL Draft? Latest 7-round mock draft for Jacksonville (Times-Union)

[Ennis] Rakestraw, 5-foot-11, 183 pounds, is ranked as a top-10 corner in this year’s draft according to many draft experts. He isn’t the fastest and has injury concerns, but his playstyle fits exactly what Jaguars defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen asked for out of his players: fast, free and physical.

2024 NFL Draft Scenarios: 3 ways the Jaguars can stabilize their offensive tackle position (Times-Union)

… Though [Walker] Little hasn’t been thrust into a full-time starting role yet, he’s been a solid player when asked to man the team’s left tackle position when Robinson is unavailable.

… Still, all actions, including the team’s investment in Harrison and retention of Robinson, point to a world in which Little is no longer on the team in 2025.

They’re back: 3 storylines to follow as Jaguars voluntary offseason program begins (Times-Union)

It’s opening day for the Jacksonville Jaguars and most of the NFL as players around the league return to work for the first time since the end of the 2023 campaign, ushering in the 2024 offseason workout program.

O-Zone: Building block (Jaguars.com)

The Jaguars like [Cooper Hodges] very much and see him as a potential long-term starter. But that’s projection. It’s difficult to pencil him into the starting lineup never having seen him play significant snaps and it’s also difficult to discuss him too much. But he’ll be a storyline to watch this offseason and training camp – and likely figures into the future of this offensive line.

Three-round 2024 NFL mock draft: Kiper, Yates predict top 100 picks (ESPN)

While Jacksonville signed Josh Allen to a deserved long-term deal and Travon Walker broke out last season, the team must continue to hammer the edge depth. I think [Marshawn] Kneeland’s blend of raw power and quickness would be very appealing to general manager Trent Baalke.

2024 All-Juice Team: 10th annual edition hopes to be as successful as Terez Paylor’s first (Yahoo Sports)

To recap Terez’s approach: The team is based on NFL evaluator and coaching staff feedback, choosing two players per “shelf,” building a full 22-man team (plus one priority free agent). The one extra player is a shoutout to an earlier edition of one of Terez’s All-Juice Teams where he added an extra defensive player to account for a nickel spot while also maintaining a traditional seven-man box. We have chosen to use the additional spot to add a preferred free agent who was put onto our radar by sources.
