Faf du Plessis, the seasoned South African cricketer, continues to lead Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Since being acquired by RCB for INR 7 crore at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, du Plessis has proven to be a valuable asset for the team.

Having started his IPL journey in 2012 with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where he played until 2021, du Plessis has been a consistent performer. His outstanding 86-run knock in the 2021 IPL final earned him the Player of the Match award, highlighting his critical role in the team’s successes.

Faf du Plessis is married to Imari Visser, whom he wed in a ceremony at Kleine Zalze Wine Estate near Cape Town in 2013.

The couple has two daughters, Zoey and Amelie.

Imari, born on May 1, 1987, in Sannieshof, South Africa, is a marketing manager with a background in business management from the University of Pretoria.

Reason why Imari Visser is missing the RCB family

Recently, Imari shared on Instagram that after spending over a month in India with Faf, she has returned to South Africa.

She recounted the vibrant experiences in India, including their adventures in Jaipur with their children, expressing gratitude for the new friendships made and the unique experiences they shared.

Imari also highlighted how she and the children have transitioned back to their routines at home, including a week filled with dance concerts.
