Impact 2023 award winners for Knockout, Tag Team, and more

on

Impact Wrestling celebrated the year that was with part one of the best of 2023 episode. A couple of awards were handed out, as voted on by the fans, honoring the Knockout of the Year, Male Tag Team of the Year, Knockouts Tag Team of the Year, and One to Watch in 2024.

Trinity took home the award for Knockout of the Year.

Trinity debuted in Impact in April. She felt the glow winning the Knockouts Championship from Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary in July. Trinity has carried the gold ever since with successful defenses against Alisha Edwards, Mickie James, and twice more over Purrazzo.

Ace Austin and Chris Bey are too sweet as the Male Tag Team of the Year.

Bullet Club’s ABC are the reigning Impact world tag team champions. That marks their second run with the gold in 2023. ABC earned the titles first beating the Motor City Machine Guns then second beating the Rascalz. ABC consistently puts on bangers in the ring no matter the opponent.

MK Ultra is the dominant force in the Knockouts division, thus the award for Knockouts Tag Team of the Year.

Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly slaughtered the competition as Knockouts tag team champions. Nobody has come close to dethroning MK Ultra so far. They won the titles from the Coven of witches, Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King.

Speaking of King, KiLynn made the list as the One to Watch in 2024.

King has risen up the ranks from AEW Dark talent to challenging Kamille for the NWA Women’s World Championship on PPV. When she joined Impact, the witches quickly had their hands on the tag titles. King dumped her partner to roll solo by the end of the year. It is her time to take over.
