Will he leave Leeds before being selected for the Blues? Difficult to advance on this question that it would be better to evade. Currently linked to the Peacocks until June 2026, Illan Meslier is considered one of the most promising keepers in the Premier League. And according to tabloid information The SunManchester United would like to make him the successor of David de Gea.

The 32-year-old Spanish goalkeeper, who earns just over €1 million a month with the Red Devils – making him the highest salary in the squad – has still not extended his contract which will expire in June next. If the Mancunian club has always assured that it wants to keep it, the former goalkeeper of Atlético de Madrid will have to drastically revise its salary requirements downwards. As things stand, Manchester United is therefore already prospecting on the transfer market and could take action for Meslier this summer. Dean Henderson, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, should be sold to him when he returns at the end of the season.
