How to uninstall VALORANT completely from PC in 2024?

Players must remember that while downloading VALORANT, it isn’t the only software that has been installed on their PC. There is the Riot Client as well as the anti-cheating system called Vanguard. Thus, these can also be removed when you are uninstalling VALORANT from your PC completely. One must note that after removing Vanguard if players try to play VALORANT, the game will not open. Below is the step-by-step guide to removing Riot Vanguard from one’s PC:

• Click on the Windows system tray in the bottom right of your screen. Within the tray, it will show the Vanguard icon, which you need to right-click to open the menu.
• Once the menu has opened, select the “Exit Vanguard” option from the pop-up menu.
• This will open a pop-up that will ask if you are sure that you wish to continue. Select yes, and it will stop the Riot Vanguard anti-cheat software on your system.
• Next, use the Windows keyboard shortcut Windows key+ I to open the settings application on your system.
• After this, select the apps section.
• You will see the list of apps installed on your Desktop or PC. Locate Riot Vanguard in the application list.
• Once found, click on it and click the uninstall button. Follow the prompts, and it will uninstall Vanguard anti-cheat from your system.

• Now, click on the address bar on top and paste this location – “C:Riot Games”
