Giants’ fans believe! 64 percent think New York will beat Philadelphia Eagles

Fans are all-in for Saturday’s huge giants-Eagles game

‘Ya gotta believe.’

That catchphrase was coined by New York Mets’ relief pitcher Tug McGraw back in the 1970s. Apparently, when it comes to Saturday night’s 2023 Divisional Round NFC playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants believe.

In this week’s ‘SB Nation Reacts’ poll, 64 percent of those who voted said they believe the 7.5-point underdog Giants, seeded No. 6, will knock off the top-seeded Eagles at Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field.

Five of six Big Blue View writers who picked Divisional Round games, are going with the Eagles. James Hickey is out there on an island by himself. At Tallysight, 90 percent of the 333 analysts who had posted picks as of Friday afternoon, were going with the Eagles to advance.

‘SB Nation Reacts’ national voters, are also riding with the Eagles.

We did ask one other Giants-related question this week. That was what voters thought was the best move made this season by first-year GM Joe Schoen. The overwhelming winner was Schoen’s decision to hire Brian Daboll as head coach.
