Genshin Impact unveils The Prince Cup 2024 with $120K Prize Pool

HoYoverse has announced the Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup for Genshin Impact in 2024 with an all-new, updated tournament system. This season, players will be divided into Atlantic and Pacific Regional Tournaments and will face off in these tournaments against elite players from other regions. All the players will be competing for the championship title and a total prize pool of 60,000 USD per region.

Registration for the Wild Card competitions has already begun today. This is the only opportunity for players to register and their last chance to qualify for the new season.

Genius Invokation TCG was first introduced as a new gameplay mode for Genshin Impact in December 2022. Multiple tournaments, such as the official tournament “Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup” and the community tournament “Cat’s Tail Gathering,” were introduced in 2023.

The 2024 Prince Cup: Pacific and The Prince Cup: Atlantic contestants will each be comprised of the top 24 players from the previous “Cat’s Tail Gathering” community tournament.

What is the schedule for The Prince Cup?

The Atlantic Region will hold the competition from April 26 to 28. The Pacific Region, on the other hand, will happen between May 17 and 19. After completing their first match, all participants in this tournament will receive 160 Primogems.

Those who manage to win their first Bo3 series will also receive an exclusive in-game card. Registration is open until April 15. Players can click on the following links to register themselves:

The players who qualified for the Prince Cup will need to advance through the Regular Season. This will consist of the top 32 players. During the Regular Season, players will be divided into 4 groups to decide the 8 best players. In the Knockout Stage, the top 8 will compete in Bo5 double-elimination matches. The final two players will compete in a Bo7 to decide the final champion and winner of the $16,000 prize.
