Former New York Giants offensive tackle Korey Cunningham was found dead at his home in Clifton, N.J. on Thursday afternoon.

The 6-foot-6, 311-pound tackle played five seasons in the NFL after entering the league as a seventh-round draft selection in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals.

Cunningham spent two seasons (2019-2020) with the New England Patriots before joining the Giants, where he played two years in 2021-2022. He played in 13 games over those two seasons with the Giants, with no starts.

He did not play in the league in 2023.

The Giants issued a statement:

“We are saddened to hear of the passing of Korey Cunningham. We was a vital part of the spirit and camaraderie of the locker room. Our thoughts are with Korey’s family, friends and teammates.”
