Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry hopes to continue his career after not playing in 2023.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will have a pair of former LSU wide receivers stealing the spotlight at the team’s rookie minicamp on May 10-11.

Jacksonville added Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. On top of that, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that former Miami Dolphins second-round pick Jarvis Landry will be participating, according to his agents.

Landry, 31, last played in 2022 as a member of the New Orleans Saints. He caught 25 passes for 272 yards over nine games but was later placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Landry spent his first four seasons with the Dolphins, leading the league with 112 receptions in 2017. He was then traded to the Cleveland Browns for fourth and seventh-round draft picks that offseason.

The five-time Pro Bowl receiver spent four seasons in Cleveland before signing a one-year contract with the Saints on May 13. 2022. Jacksonville lost Calvin Ridley to free agency but signed Gabe Davis to pair with the established combination of Christian Kirk and Zay Jones.

While the Jaguars drafted a receiver in the first round, Landry hopes to carve out a role as an underneath option for fourth-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
