For the second straight year Micah Parsons is mad about the Eagles making a smart draft pick

Parsons is basically the “he can’t keep getting away with this” meme from Breaking Bad about Howie Roseman.

For the second straight year, the Philadelphia Eagles and Howie Roseman have ruined NFL Draft night for Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys. Last year Parsons was “sick to his stomach” when the Birds selected Jalen Carter in the first round and this year’s reaction wasn’t any better.

With pick No. 22 in this year’s first round, the Eagles selected Toledo Rockets cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, who many analysts had as the top corner in the draft, and Parsons was “utterly disgusted” on Bleacher Report’s NFL Draft show.

“I mean, I’m utterly disgusted on how lucky the Eagles are. He fell right into their lap. He checks every box. … I think this is a terrific pick. I don’t know how Howie and them get so lucky,” Parsons said while looking utterly miffed.

Philadelphia needed reinforcements in the defensive backfield and Mitchell should compete for snaps right away. The Eagles haven’t selected a cornerback in the first round since they nabbed Lito Sheppard out of Florida in 2002. Hopefully Mitchell has a similarly successful career in midnight green!
