WWE superstar Finn Balor was briefly interviewed by TMZ regarding his surprise attack on Johnny Gargano at the conclusion of last Wednesday’s NXT. Balor states that the assault was a long time coming, but questions whether he’s a bad guy, or if he just did a bad thing.
It was a long time coming. Am I a bad guy or do I just do bad things sometimes? Lines are blurred in this day and age, we don’t know what’s going on.
Balor also recently appeared on WWE Backstage, where the inaugural Universal Champion declares that “the Prince” is back, referencing his New Japan Pro Wrestling persona Prince Devitt, who was the creator and original leader of the popular wrestling faction, the Bullet Club.
I’d say this is the real Finn Balor. You’re a big fan of my work before WWE, right? … Well, let’s just say ‘The Prince’ is back.
