WWE superstar Drew McIntyre took to Twitter to comment on his recent training routine in preparation for his WWE championship match against The Beast Brock Lesnar. McIntyre says he was inspired by actor Sylvester Stallone’s famous Rocky IV training montage ahead of his showdown against Ivan Drago in the film’s climatic final fight.
The 2020 Royal Rumble winner writes, “I was always inspired by @theslystallone in Rocky & his preparation for Drago in the Russian snow. Of course I have to take my #Wrestlemania training one step further heading back to the freezing cold, snowy Scottish highlands….in my wrestling gear to prepare for Brock Lesnar.”
