David Puig finished tied for the lead with South African Jbe Kruger, both at -11, after the second round of the Macau International Series (China), holding a one-shot advantage over Chilean Mito Pereira and Swedish Bjorn Hellgren.

The 22-year-old Spaniard concluded an impressive round with a total of seven birdies and one bogey, carding a 64, one stroke behind Kruger, who also posted seven birdies without a bogey.
One shot behind are Chile’s Mito Pereira and Sweden’s Bjorn Hellgren, who finished the day with 66 and 65 strokes, respectively, while two shots back are Mexican Carlos Ortiz, Japanese Yuta Sugiura, and American Pat Perez.
Following Puig, the best-performing Spaniard is Sergio García, who completed a spectacular round with 63 strokes (including two eagles, six birdies, and three bogeys), bouncing back from a poor performance in the first round where he finished two strokes over par. García is currently at -5, along with Carlos Pigem (five birdies and two bogeys), followed by Eugenio López-Chacarra at four strokes over par (five birdies, one bogey, and two double bogeys).
The competition will be decided on Saturday in the final round of a tournament where a significant number of players from the LIV circuit, such as Sergio García, participate in the International Series, driven by Saudi capital, to provide athletes with the opportunity to compete during weeks when there is no competition in the LIV and earn points in the world rankings.

Under the “one country, two systems” policy, the central people’s government of China is responsible for defense and foreign affairs, while Macao maintains its own legal system, police force, monetary system, customs policy, and immigration policy.
According to the World Factbook, Macao has the second-highest life expectancy among all countries in the world. Additionally, Macao is one of the regions in Asia with the highest human development index.
