The AEW star’s latest adventure happened during a routine event.

Darby Allin is renowned for his fearless approach to life and wrestling, taking on jaw-dropping stunts like backflips on a tricycle or crashing through glass. However, his latest daring venture wasn’t in the ring or during a performance for the Nitro Circus.

Instead, his latest feat was a routine event that, unfortunately, didn’t go as planned.

On Saturday (April 27), Allin revealed on Instagram that he’d been struck by a bus in New York City while crossing the street with a broken foot. Despite visible injuries to his face, notably to his nose, the All Elite Wrestling star remained undeterred, attending a Broadway play with New York artist Raymond Pettibon.

“That awkward moment when your [sic] crossing the street in New York with a broken foot and get hit by a bus,” Allin wrote on Instagram. “Least I can have a good time with @raymond_pettibon_ and catch a broadway [sic] show lol.”

Allin’s latest misadventure comes more than a month after breaking his foot during a match against Jay White on AEW Dynamite. The injury happened while attempting a senton to the floor, which resulted in three broken bones in his foot. Though he finished the match, the injury derailed his plans to climb Mt. Everest, putting that quest on hold until at least 2025.

Before his recent misfortunes, Allin teamed with Sting in the icon’s final match at AEW Revolution, where they defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW Tag Team titles.
