Concept art that is “pretty close” to the final design has leaked

It’s just concept art, but according to people who have seen the Broncos’ new uniform, these are pretty close to the final product.

Late last night, the X/Twitter account @CtespnN tweeted out a photo of concept art of the new Broncos uniforms set to be released on April 22nd.

While this account is far from reliable and one I did not know existed before this, apparently these photos are close to the final product according to people who have seen the Broncos’ new uniforms.

KOA’s Broncos insider Benjamin Allbright who has seen the Broncos’ new uniforms tweeted out that the leaked concept art is “pretty close but not exactly” what he saw. He and fellow radio host Nick Ferguson both saw the new uniforms and commented and described them on their radio show which you can listen to here.

Allbright continues describing the new uniform and says that there are “a bunch of triangles” all over the place including inside the numbers, at the back of the neck, and that these triangles are supposed to represent the mountains(or something). He also adds that the horse head logo will now replace the old school D on the white helmet, the stripe down the middle of the white helmet is now gone, and the number 5280 which represents Denver’s miles above sea level will be going vertically down the pants in a subtle way.

In some good news, Allbright also states that the throwback uniforms are “everything the fans asked for” so we’ll at least get that in the Monday announcement.

Now, let me stress that the photos are just concept art and are close but not exactly what will be released on Monday when the team makes the official announcement. So, we all should withhold total judgment until then since all we have currently is concept art and a local radio host describing them on social media. With all that said, we do have an idea of what to expect now heading into Monday’s announcement.

I personally do not hate the home orange uniforms in the concept art but the road white ones are not doing it for me. Once again, these are just concept arts that are pretty close but not exactly the final product so we will need to wait and see when they’re officially announced to see what they really look like.

At the very least, it sounds like they are going to announce the retro throwback looks with the old color scheme and logo. So, if these new uniforms do stink, we will at least have those.

The Broncos will officially announce the new uniforms, helmets, and pant designs on Monday, April 22nd. We now have a pretty good idea of what these uniforms, helmets, and pants will look like, but hopefully, the final product on the players will look a bit better than the concept art.
