Colts fans have spoken, and the results have been largely positive following their recent 2024 NFL Draft class.

Indianapolis Colts fans have let their voices be heard, and following the team’s talented 9-player rookie draft class, the Horseshoe faithful are feeling pretty good about things again!

Specifically, 90% of Colts fans think Indianapolis was a winner of the 2024 NFL Draft, which was highlighted by the team’s top two selections of UCLA edge Laiatu Latu and Texas wideout AD Mitchell:

Speaking of Mitchell, more than half of Colts fans (53%) like his selection the most, and it’s not hard to see why. On pure talent, Mitchell is a Top 5 wideout prospect in this year’s draft class—with clear first round ability. However, the Colts managed to trade down and get him at Pick #52nd overall—which one day may look like a steal in retrospect, if it all truly clicks.

It was a position of need entering the draft, and the Colts got great value here with an uber talented wideout prospect who complements starting quarterback Anthony Richardson well!

While Colts general manager Chris Ballard was ‘bullish’ on his young secondary in his pre-draft press conference, it was still surprising that Indianapolis did not significantly address the cornerback position in the 2024 NFL Draft. In fact, the Colts didn’t address it until the 6th round with the selection of Marshall cornerback Micah Abraham.

The Colts clearly believe (and maybe too much?) in their outside trio of JuJu Brents, Dallis Flowers, and Jaylin Jones, but more than half of the Horseshoe faithful (53%) still believes this group could use a veteran addition to help solidify their cornerback room.
