Obviously, a lot can change between now and Week 1 of the NFL regular season, which officially kicks off on September 5th of this upcoming Fall, particularly as it relates to veteran cuts—which may free up some more desirable rookie numbers for some of these first-year players to take instead of their interim assigned numbers.

Meaning, I wouldn’t necessarily buy a rookie jersey quite yet!
