AEW superstar and VP Cody Rhodes responded to a fan on Twitter who claimed that WWE’s new design of the Intercontinental championship was done in order to make fans forget that Rhodes was the one who resurfaced the classic white-strap design back in 2011. Rhodes disagrees, saying that it was most likely due to a change, and that he looks forward to the title creating great moments for talent in the future.
