Peanut will be in Detroit on Friday night representing the Bears!
The NFL always brings out current and former players and a few celebrities to announce some of their day two picks, and this year will see the return of Chicago Bears legend Charles Tillman.
The league announced that Peanut would be on stage in Detroit to announce Chicago’s third-round selection, which is currently slated to be 75 overall.
Other legends with ties to the Bears scheduled to appear on stage are Muhsin Muhammad, who will announce Carolina’s second and third-round picks, and Anthony “Spice” Adams, who will announce San Francisco’s second and third-rounders. Spice grew up in Detroit, so it’ll be interesting to hear if his Michigan roots will take precedence over his connection to the Bears and ‘Niners from the Detroit crowd.
This year’s lone celebrity currently booked for the event is 16-time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair, who will announce Tampa Bay’s third-round pick.
