AEW has announced that due to prior commitments, number-one contender Kris Statlander will no longer be challenging women’s champion Riho on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite from Jacksonville. Instead, Riho will defend the gold in a fatal-four way against Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida.
Due to prior commitments, Kris Statlander will not be in Jacksonville to face Riho for the #AEW Women’s World Championship on Wed, Jan 1st.

Statlander will then face the winner on the following Dynamite from Southaven.
