The 2024 NFL draft comes to a close on Saturday, here is where the Browns will select going into the day
The 2024 NFL draft has had a lot of interesting storylines throughout the league, just not for the Cleveland Browns. Such is the fate of a team with no first-round selection, no immediate needs and one that didn’t make any trades in the first two days of the draft.
The Browns have four selections on Day 3 of the annual event but currently lack a selection in the fourth round to kick off the day. Next year, GM Andrew Berry has selections in the first four rounds, three currently in the sixth and one in the seventh.
After drafting DT Michael Hall and OL Zak Zinter on Day 2, Berry is currently slotted to select at these spots for the remainder of this year’s draft:
- Round 5, Pick #156
- Round 6, Pick #206
- Round 7, Pick #227
- Round 7, Pick #243
An active trader since taking over Cleveland’s front office, it will be interesting if Berry has a trade-up target in mind and is able to move into the fourth round. With the draft starting at noon today with pick #101, Browns fans could have a long wait before their team is back on the clock.
