Would Les Snead’s first first round draft pick of Sean McVay’s Rams era be QB Bo Nix?

Prompted to make a wild prediction on The Rich Eisen Show, SI’s NFL Insider Albert Breer decided to drop a belief that maybe the Los Angeles Rams will draft Bo Nix in the first round.

“Bo Nix goes 19th overall to the Los Angeles Rams. Is that enough? Is that good enough?”

Eisen says that Nix to the Rams is not “blowing the top off the place” and Breer says he could go as early as 12th to the Broncos but that also a lot of teams strictly see Bo Nix as a backup. He then drops the story that Les Snead has a connection to Bo’s dad from college. Todd McShay also made the note that some teams strictly view Bo Nix as a second or third round pick with a future as a backup.

The Rams have seemingly been one of the most talked-about teams in the draft cycle this year despite not having a top-15 pick strictly because people so rarely get the chance to talk about the Rams having a first round pick. Maybe analysts are just so confused and befuddled due to the lack of information since Les Snead hasn’t made any first round picks lately that it’s made them the most interesting team of day one.

Bo Nix probably is not going to be a highly-regarded pick by Rams fans if Snead does use a first rounder on him. That usually doesn’t matter either as far as what Snead wants to do.
