Brayan “Azteca” Rivera became the new Fecombox national champion of super bantamweight by beating Odín Juárez by unanimous decision, who incidentally took the undefeated in the stellar fight of the event organized by “Chiquita González Boxing” at the Dome of Ciudad Jardín in Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico and broadcast live by Adrenalina Sports Network and Aym Sports.

After 10 rounds in the super bantamweight division, the “Azteca” Rivera won with cards of 97-93, 96-94 and 96-94, in an evening that was attended by Humberto “Chiquita” González, Jessie Vargas, Pipino Cuevas and Mauricio “Bronco” Lara.

The fight was very even from the beginning, the Azteca Rivera who had warned that it would not be a step of anyone and an Odin who from the first round sought to impose conditions and that at the end of the second found the best blows, especially right to the face and body of the native of Oaxaca.

Brayan improved with the passage of the rounds and caused bleeding in Odin’s nostrils in the middle of the fight, which was very close, but the best blows were from Azteca Rivera. After eight rounds, two judges had tied the contest and one in favor of Brayan, but he was obliged to close in good shape and so he did.

Despite Odin’s attempts to extend his undefeated and return home with the title, it was Brayan who achieved the best combinations and blows for the definitive triumph that has him as the new Fecombox national champion and with a record of 11-3, 9 by knockout, while Odin was left with a record of 13-1-2, 4 before the limit, in his first defeat as a professional.

The co-star fight was a war between two women, Isis “Empress” Vargas (9-5, 3 KOs) and Jaqueline “Fiera” Mucio (7-11-2), where after 8 rounds in the bantamweight division the “Empress” Vargas was left with the victory by majority decision.

The judges saw Isis win with cards of 79-73, 76-76 and 77-75, for her victory against an opponent who fought from start to finish, but who received many blows from the Empress, who seeks a new world title opportunity.

In a six-round fight agreed in the super featherweight division, Ramsés “Faraón” Vargas (6-1-1) beat Víctor Valencia (4-9-1) with scores of 59-55, 58-56 and 58-56, a fight in which the winner had to be used thoroughly

Those who came out as real beasts were the debutants Antony Sandoval and Emanuel Gaona, who tied after their four-round fight in mini-fly. Sandoval is the first prospect of the municipal boxing school and is supported by Imcufidene and the municipal president of Neza, Adolfo Cerqueda.

Other rookie fights, Angel Juarez (1-0, 1 KO) won by technical knockout in two rounds to Eduardo Morales (0-1), duel where the intervention of the referee seemed a little hasty, in super lightweight; while Brandon Ramírez (1-0, 1 KO) went to the canvas in the second round, but won by technical knockout in the third to Jesús Ariel Pérez (0-1), in super bantamweight.
