After another day of online action in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 European Qualifiers, we have our four Semi-Finalists. Of the four, just one will make it to the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, which later this year will prove to be one of the biggest CS2 tournaments of the year.
Today’s Quarter-Finals were BIG vs. GamerLegion and Gaimin Gladiators vs. Nemiga – let’s see who made it through to the Semis, shall we?
Tech issues take down GamerLegion against BIG

GamerLegion will feel rather slighted by how their match against BIG went down. With the first map tied at 4:4, GamerLegion were forced to concede the opener after isak experienced technical issues with Akros Anti-Cheat. He was unable to reconnect to the match, and GamerLegion were forced to play map two with stand-in God6y.
After double-overtime on map two, BIG were able to finish the job, securing themselves a Semi-Final spot in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 European Qualifiers. It’s unfortunate, and not how they’d have liked to win, but it’s ultimately the result that matters most. Now, it’s BLEED up next for a spot in the Final.
Gaimin Gladiators continue to impress

The former ECSTATIC squad continued their unbeaten run under the revived Gaimin Gladiators roster, beating Nemiga in a tight 2:0 series. While the series was a straight sweep, both maps ended 13:11 in favor of the Danes, and with a few swing rounds could have gone either way.
ECSTATIC counted on the individual brilliance of kraghen and Nodios to get over the line here. The duo took turns top-fragging on either map, proving to be the extra bit of quality needed to get that Semi-Final spot in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 EU Qualifier. This was despite the best efforts of Nemiga’s khaN, who was unfortunate to be on the losing side here today.
Now, heading into the Semi-Finals, we have BIG vs. BLEED and Gaimin Gladiators vs. AMKAL. morrow for another incredible set of CS2 matches in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 EU Qualifier.
