Big Bill has entered the Jericho Vortex

Chris Jericho put some finishing touches on his new heel gimmick last week on Dynamite. After playing like he was oblivious to negative reactions from AEW fans online and in arenas, he renamed the FTW title and made it his mission to show the world the right way to be a professional wrestler.

He also found someone who actually wants to sit under his Learning Tree™: former AEW Tag champ Big Bill. If you were thinking Bill would earn Jericho’s acceptance by interfering in a match on his behalf… congratulations, you’ve watched wrestling before! It happened on the May 1 Dynamite, when Bill chokeslammed Katsuyori Shibata through a table. Jericho covered him, and now will keep the “For The World” championship. At least until HOOK returns and takes it back from him.

Was it enough to become Jericho’s latest protege? As Chris’ pandering new character might say, “You betcha!”

Will The Learning Tree hold the For The World championship for a long time to come with the big Redwood by his side?
