Twitter really loved the Matt Lee selection.

If the first two days of the NFL Draft are the meat and potatoes, the third day is desert. The Cincinnati Bengals have exhausted their 10 picks, six of which came on Saturday, and have added some exciting and talented players to positions of need.

Some of the most important players in Bengals history were selected in the later rounds of the draft. Domata Peko (4), Kevin Huber (5), Geno Atkins (4), Marvin Jones (5), George Iloka (5), Rex Burkhead (6), C.J. Uzomah (5), Carl Lawson (4), Evan McPherson (5), Cordell Volson (4), Chase Brown (5), and Andrei Iosivas (6) were all selected on day three of the draft, and all them were, at one point, big parts of this team. Some still are, and will be in the future.

On the third day of the draft, the Bengals added Iowa tight end Erick All, who grew up in Cincinnati and went to Fairfield High School in the fourth round. Then they added TCU cornerback Josh Newton in the fifth. In the sixth round, the Bengals selected another tight end, Tanner McLachlan out of Arizona, and Ole Miss edge rusher Cedric Johnson.

Finally, in the seventh round, they were able to grab Ole Miss safety Daijahn Anthony and Miami (Fl) center Matt Lee. Twitter was especially happy for the Lee selection.

Here’s a roundup of some of the best Twitter reactions from Day 3!
