This week’s backstage RAW segments with WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits were all shot live as they aired as a way to keep their energy as vibrant as possible, according to PWInsider.
This is notable because most of the weekly backstage RAW segments are pre-taped.
As we’ve noted, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were brought to RAW as a way to introduce more fresh faces as new Executive Director Paul Heyman prepares to take over the red brand creative process. It’s believed that they were brought to RAW at Heyman’s request, but they are still considered to be a part of the NXT roster, and not officially called up to the main roster.
