Babyface vs. Babyface Dark Match Held Before Tonight’s WWE SmackDown

The dark match before tonight’s WWE SmackDown at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana saw Apollo Crews defeat Kalisto.

According to a correspondent in attendance, both Superstars played the babyface role but Kalisto was much more open about it, and was very open with the younger fans in attendance. Our correspondent noted that Crews didn’t show much emotion at all.

Apollo and Kalisto were both drafted to the blue brand in the 2019 WWE Draft this past week. Kalisto came over from WWE 205 Live with the rest of The Lucha House Party – Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado. Crews had made some appearances for both brands this year, but he was officially drafted to SmackDown in the 2019 Superstar Shakeup this past April.
