Arsenal are already working on strengthening their squad ahead of next season. The London club would have set its sights on two Danish talents to expand its workforce.
According to information collected by TeamTalk, the coveted first player is Rasmus Hojlund, who plays for Atalanta. The striker is having an exceptional season with 17 goals in 36 matches in all competitions. His performances have earned him comparisons with Erling Haaland. According to Italian media, Arsenal would be ready to pay a large part of the 50 to 60 million euros demanded by the Bergamo club.
Manchester United also on the spot?
Although Manchester United are also interested, the Gunners would be in the lead race for his signature. Sporting director Edu seems determined to get a deal done quickly which could thwart Erik ten Hag’s plans.
The second Danish talent targeted by Arsenal is Jesper Lindstrom, who plays at Eintracht Frankfurt. The 23-year-old has built a solid reputation in the Bundesliga thanks to his performances. With 14 goals in 70 appearances, the midfielder is considered one of his team’s best players.
According Sports1, Arsenal are also stepping up their efforts to sign Jesper Lindstrom. An offer of 30 million euros could be enough to convince Frankfurt to sell their player. If the Gunners manage to complete these transfers, they will land two of Denmark’s top talents for a total fee of €90m.
These two signings could help keep Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table. As a reminder, the Londoners currently occupy the 1st position, with 69 points obtained in 28 games. They are 8 points ahead of their pursuer, Manchester City.
