E4C: Fallen Arena

Ambrus Studios’ Fallen Arena is the PC prequel to the forthcoming multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) E4C: Final Salvation. As with other popular MOBAs like League of Legends, players will fight as heroes. In this fast-paced hit-and-kill game, players compete in a toxic, smog-filled arena as they collect crystals to earn points.

In-game assets generated during gameplay, such as upgradeable, customizable skins, will be recorded as on-chain assets in the Sui ecosystem, allowing players to earn $E4C and Combat Tickets that can be exchanged for Ranger NFTs, $E4C, rare weapons and heroes – items that will be usable in Final Salvation as well as Fallen Arena.

“Being able to move your hard-earned assets from one game to another has never been possible until web3: the seamless integration and use of NFTs and tokens from the E4C ecosystem is redefining player experience. And it’s not just one player at a time – with Sui’s help, we are able to accommodate a large number of players without compromising their gameplay. We can’t wait for the E4C to experience Fallen Arena and then Final Salvation.” – Johnson Yeh, Founder of Ambrus Studio and former Riot Games Asia Pacific CEO.

Sui x Ambrus Studio

Ambrus Studio was founded by former Riot Games Asia-Pacific CEO Johnson Yeh in December 2021. The number one goal is to create fdree-to-play esports games that can exist in a sustainable metaverse.

When partnering with Sui, Ambrus Studio will use the layer 1 blockchain designed to make the process of development much easier for small studios. Monetization has always been a difficult aspect of game development. By partnering with Sui, players will have much easier access to in-game assets.

“In-game assets generated by players in Fallen Arena, soon to be followed by Final Salvation, are the perfect test case for the actual definition of the metaverse–where users own their assets and ownership centers around the consumer,” said Evan Cheng, CEO of Mysten Labs and Original Contributor to Sui. “In the past, web3 gaming has largely failed to deliver on its promise to redefine player ownership, but the games Ambrus is producing are actually playable, fun, and designed for a mass audience – made possible by Sui’s speed, security and composability.”

The next instalment of the E4C series, E4C: Final Salvation will be released in Q2 of 2024.
