All Combo Breaker 2024 Community Tournaments

Combo Breaker is one of the bigger fighting game events on the horizon right now. the tournament series is going to feature some of the best players competing. It’s all happening in May. However, with registration for Combo Breaker 2024 open already, we’ve started getting early news about how it’s going to work.

Combo Breaker 2024 Will be the Final Pro Kompetition Tournament

One big expansion in fighting game esports this year has been the Pro Kompetition. The highest level of pro-MK has taken a step up for Mortal Kombat 1’s first year. We’ve seen loads of tournaments happen for the Mortal Kombat Pro Kompetiition so far. But we’ve just heard about where it’s all going to end, at Combo Breaker 2024.

Combo Breaker 2024 has tons of the biggest games at the event, but it’s getting a step up for Mortal Kombat. In a nice sign of its importance to the FGC, the MK 1 event at this tournament will be our final stop on the Pro Kompetition. Fittingly, it’s going to carry an extra $10,000 bonus. That’s along with contributing plenty to the final standings.

If there are any players still hoping to get their names on the leaderboard for the finals, this will be the last chance. It’s going to mean we’re getting a much tenser competition at Combo Breaker. The MK 1 tournament isn’t one to be missed.

That’s the whole roster for community tournaments at Combo Breaker 2024. There are tons on offer here. We’ve got some of the best fighting games of all time like SF 2. There are also some weird titles too, like SF the Movie (the game), Neo Turf Masters, and Sonic the Fighters.

These community tournaments will definitely help to make the weekend more varied. While the major events for games like Smash and Street Fighter 6 are pulling the most attention, it’ll be worth checking in with some of these more niche titles too.

Combo Breaker 2024 has proven a hit even with these limited details available so far. The hotel associated with the events available rooms for Combo Breaker have already sold out. They’ve actually finished selling these within 10 minutes of going live! This is a huge showing of how popular this event is going to be.

Combo Breaker 2024 is already looking like the biggest in the series. Other fighting events across 2023 saw record sign ups. We can probably expect to see similar news coming out about this event soon.
