Aaron Donald has reportedly retired

on

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at New York Giants

I have no inside information. The reported news is AD is done with football at this time.

Aaron Donald, perhaps the greatest player in Los Angeles Ram’s history, and one of the greatest players in the NFL EVER, has apparently retired. Every Ram’s fan was hoping he’d stay. There seemed to be reasons and rationale that he would stay, but nay. He is apparently moving on and I am happy for him. He will be greatly missed on that NFL field though, well for Ram’s fans anyways. Maybe he won’t be so missed by his opponents.

There will be stories and pieces about his legacy. I again say, and this insn’t hype, he’s one of the greatest players the NFL has ever seen. To do that at defensive line, a position that is easily overlooked comparted to high profile positions like quarterback, is insane. I am hoping this news is fake, but I don’t think it is. LA is going to have to regroup and figure out what they can do. I would guess they had more notice than we did, but maybe not.

Some would say he had a down year last year by his standards. He still had 8 sacks. I am going to break the fourth wall here. I am in shock. I am a Ram’s fan. I didn’t see this coming, but I had the day off from my day job and a chance to share this so I am.

Thank you for everything AD. You will be sorely missed but you will forever be a Ram. Feel free to comment below. Everyone have a good Friday. I will now curl up in a ball and collect myself.
