The Jets take Mr. Irrelevant in the 2024 NFL Draft
The New York Jets have selected safety Jaylen Key out of the University of Alabama with the 257th and final pick in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Jaylen Key is a 6’ 1”, 208 pound safety out of Alabama.
Key lacks speed but is a solid tackler. He projects as a special teams player to start, with the possibility of developing into a contributor at safety down the line. Key goes down as “Mr. Irrelevant” for the 2024 NFL Draft.
