Yale offensive tackle has been connected to Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Raiders have been often speculated as a potential landing spot for Yale offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie.

Let’s take a closer look at Amegadjie:

Size:

6-5, 323 pounds.

2023 Stats:
He played just four games due to a quad injury. Still, he made the first-team All-Ivy League team.

Career highlights:

The Ivy league didn’t play in 2020 (his first college year) because of COVID. He did start every game in 2021 and ‘22. He was an honorable-mention all league in 2021 and first-team All Ivy league in 2022.

Traits:

He’s extremely athletic and he’s long. He’s a perfect offensive line prospect in those ways. But he needs to refine his game some and prove he can play against top competition.

How he’d fit in with Raiders:

The Raiders are expected to draft a tackle early and Amegadjie could be that fit. The one problem is he may not be ready to start Day 1. So, if the Raiders have some patience, he could be a fit.

What’s his draft range?

While he doesn’t come without risks, he has a high ceiling because of his athleticism and size. He should be a solid Day 2 choice and easily could come off the board in the second round.
