Las Vegas is showing interest in Florida State defensive tackle

The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly hosted Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske for a pre-draft visit.

Let’s take a closer look at Fiske:

Size:

6-5, 297 pounds.

2023 Stats:
He started all 13 games for the Seminoles. He had 43 tackles with six sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss and was a third-team All-American selections. He was second-team All-ACC.

Career highlights:

He was previously in the Central Michigan program for five seasons. He played in 45 games with 30 starts. He had 13.5 career sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss in his career there. He was considered one of the top transfers in the country in 2023.

Combine star:

Fiske, who turned 24 in January, showed great athleticism at the NFL Combine and his pro day and he has been rising up draft boards since.

How he’d fit in with Raiders:

He’s a high-motor player who plays with good toughness and he would be a good fit on Antonio Pierce’s defensive front at a need position. He could really flourish with veterans Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins on the defensive line.

What’s his draft range?

He’s not a big player and he still to refine his game some, but the athleticism and college production will very likely make him a fairly high Day 2 pick.
